Licensed Interstate Moving Company
Wheatland Van Lines is a fully licensed interstate moving company (USDOT #3181246, MC #126479) authorized to transport household goods and commercial shipments across all 48 contiguous US states. We are a direct carrier — not a broker — which means our own trained crews handle your move from pickup to delivery with no third-party handoffs.
Interstate moving — any relocation that crosses a state line — is regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Only licensed carriers like Wheatland Van Lines can legally perform these moves. Our USDOT and MC numbers are publicly verifiable on the FMCSA website. We provide binding written quotes, GPS-tracked transport, and full carrier liability on every interstate shipment.

FAQ
Can Wheatland Van Lines help with a DITY/PPM military move?
Yes. We assist military members with Personally Procured Moves (PPM), including proper documentation, weight tickets, and cost calculations. Our agents are familiar with the process and can guide you through every step.
How much notice do you need for a military PCS move?
We can often accommodate military moves with 2–3 weeks notice. For peak PCS season (May–August), we recommend contacting us as soon as you receive your orders — even if the date is not yet confirmed.
Do you move to and from military bases?
Yes. We have experience with base access procedures and can coordinate pickup and delivery at military installations across the country.
Is my household goods shipment insured during a PCS move?
Basic carrier liability is included. Full-value protection is available as an upgrade and is recommended for high-value items. Ask your moving agent about coverage options before your move date.
